Reviews are a very important component of affiliate marketing. Always show your readers the pros and cons of a product. Assuming you don't promote crap product the pros will take 90% of the review and the cons maybe 5%. Your goal, in the end, is to leave the impression that you shared some kind of secret and, also, you helped the reader in making the best choice.

The reasons were clear to me after comparing 2 campaigns, one focused on a single product, writing like that product was the best thing on earth (it was good but not quite the bible :D) and the 2nd campaign focused on a decent head to head between the product from the 1st campaign and another product. Guess what, the first product sold better from the 2nd campaign...
