Build a decent amount of content first

Don't publish your site right from the start, build at least 20 content articles under a strong category tree. This mean spread those 20 articles, 1-2 articles in each category. Make sure every category has an unique description.

Bookmark your website in Digg

After you build a decent amount of content under a unique described category tree (very important) post 1 social bookmark in Digg.

Post a link in webmasters forums

You probably already have user accounts at some webmasters forums. Put the link in your signature and make 1-2 posts. Or, alternatively, you can announce directly your website in Review section or by posting a thread with some good content and a follow up for more information to your site.
